Remembering Ellie Goldenberg
I first met Ellie Goldenberg when she was a freshman BFA Musical Theatre student at the University of Miami and had been assigned to me for voice lessons. My first impression of her, beyond her striking beauty and charismatic charm, was that of a young woman on a serious mission. She had a very clear idea of where she was headed in life and was prepared to do everything possible to achieve her dream.
Flexibility & Patience
There was a period of time when I worked with two prepubescent boys. Though I had previously taught a young boy who was already a professional stage actor, most of my students were from late high school age well into middle age and beyond.
Persistence & Unwavering Commitment
A classically trained actress with a solid, active performing career called me to inquire about voice lessons. She was taking an audition class in New York City from a very popular acting teacher, and it included many of my musical theatre students who referred her to me.
